US officials said it was a lone gunman who had once again single handedly defeated Secret Service security, 24 year old Sirhan Sirhan, a young Palestinian-Jordanian immigrant, The nefarious powers that be did not want to see Kennedy reach the presidency, because he more than likely would have fulfilled his brother's agenda and also gone after his killers.
